Luke 2:1-20
Most have heard the story in Luke 2:1-20 concerning the birth of  our Lord Jesus Christ; let us focus on the inn keeper that turned Joseph and Mary away and what he said; ”there was no room for them in the inn.” (Luke 2:7b KJV) There are many missed opportunities in life. We can miss the opportunity to do good to all men, help the hurting, down trodden, the hopeless and to encourage those who struggle in their faith. Too many miss the opportunity to have Christ reign in their hearts. For them, the story of the birth of Jesus is no different than the inn keeper; they simply have no room for Jesus in their life. Let us think about what it means to have Christ reign in us? For the baby did not come to rest in a crib or a manger. He came to take up residence in our hearts. He came to be king of our life. He came to give us the direction we so desperately need in our lives because we cannot do it on our own. We have a great advantage the innkeeper that glorious night did not have; we know who wants to reside in our hearts and live in us, who wants us to be His hands and feet. Open up your inn and your life will change forever. God Loves Ya;)
