Isaiah 55
I like the snow, but I realized with this latest storm, I not only like seeing the snow on the ground but also the act of snowing itself. I like watching it fall and when most of the snow falls overnight, I find myself a little disappointed that I didn’t actually see it happening. It got me thinking that often in life, we would rather see the end result than follow the process on getting there. We miss out on seeing how God works, pulling things or not pulling things together to accomplish what He wants for us. We miss the small blessings and miracles that God has in store for us if we are not patient and waiting on the Lord. Jack Canfield, author of Chicken Soup for the Soul states, “A car driving through the night, the headlights only reach 100 – 200 feet in front of the car. But you could make it all the way from California to New York whilst driving in the dark, because all you have to see is the next 200 feet. And that’s how life tends to unfold before us. If we just trust, the next 200 feet will unfold, and the next 200 feet after that and so on. Your life will keep unfolding and it will eventually get you to the destination”. Don’t rush; enjoy the ride that God has in store for you. God Loves Ya 😉
