Joel 2:25-27
Recently I went through a time where it felt as though I were ready to give up. I had worked so hard to get to where I was; good credit, paying my bills on time, a job that I enjoyed, etc. The struggles my husband and I have gone through recently made me question why it was worth it to keep trying. Every step forward seems to bring us two steps back. I realized that what I was really doing was losing my hope and faith in God. Losing the hope that he would eventually get us through and bring us out stronger on the other end. Once I acknowledged that, I prayed and asked Him to forgive me for my weakness. He is the one that gives us the hope to get through the difficult times, which in some cases may even last years. Don’t drown during the dark times. Keep your hope and faith in Him to keep the light shining. God is Good 😉
