Ephesians 2:8-9
When you pray that small, little, seemingly insignificant prayer asking Jesus Christ into your heart; you were saved by grace. Grace is when you get something without deserving or earning it, you just get it. It’s a gift. There is nothing we can do nor are there any amounts of screw-ups that will make God forget his gift to us. You may think that God has forgotten you or that your sins are too great, but no sin is too great for God to forgive. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” You cannot earn your gift, only honor God. – Lauren Taylor
