So, it’s the day after Easter and Christ has risen, now w hat? Do we go back to our everyday lives? Go to church on Sundays or for some just every Christmas and Easter. Do we continue to live like we did before we came to Christ? Today’s scripture puts some emphasis on this issue. “So Peter went out with the other disciples, and they were going toward the tomb. Both of them were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in” (John 20:3-5) Our reading today says that Christs’ disciples ran back to the tomb when they heard he wasn’t there. However, they didn’t enter right away; they stooped and looked in. Are we as Christians stooping when it comes to our faith in Christ? Do we really ever commit and jump all in? Or do we stay on the side lines to see if it is safe to jump in? Let us not be stooping in on our faith in Christ. If we believe in the resurrection and and that Christ ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, then we better go all in as Christ did for us. God loves Ya 😉
