1 Corinthians 15:33
“Bad company corrupts good character.” Think carefully about what is right, and stop sinning.” Putting it another way, “One bad apple can spoil the basket.” So, how can we testify and socialize with non-believers without being corrupted, especially when we are told to be in the world but not of it? We do this, simply having one or more accountability persons in our lives. People that aren’t afraid to let us know when the world is influencing us too much and when we need to pull back on the reins. We need to reach out to the lost and show and tell those about the Lord at the same time keep our shelves in check. We can shine as lights to the world but also need those who can encourage us in our reaching out, speaking those words of tough love to let us know if we have started to be morally spoiled. We have not been called to live in a bubble, but to reach the loss for Christ. (John 17:15-16) Don’t let those bad apples spoil us. God Loves Ya
