Matthew 4:19
Do you have people in your life who don’t know Jesus? Are you afraid to approach them and share the truth of who Christ can be in their life? We don’t want to face rejection or anger or be ridiculed for our beliefs; so we avoid the subject. But we are called to do just that. In Matthew 4:19, Jesus told Peter and Andrew that He would make them fishers of men if they followed him. Don’t let your fear stop you from leading someone to Christ. Think about these words to a Casting Crowns song; “Maybe this time I’ll speak the Words of Life, with your fire in my eyes, but that old familiar fear is tearing at my words. What am I so afraid of? Cause here I go again, talking ‘bout the rain and mulling over things that won’t live past today and as I dance around the truth, time is not his friend. This might be my last chance to tell him that you love him.” Don’t put off ‘til tomorrow what you have the opportunity to do today. Tomorrow may be too late. God loves ya! 😉 – Karen Chappell
