Can’t Take It With You

We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it. (Psalms 39:6 ) Why are we rushing? Why do we need something right now? Our lives have turned into nothing but a chase for something. Fame, fortune, notoriety; anything that will make us feel like we are a head of the game; that we won the great life jackpot of happiness. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Our wealth isn’t stored up here on earth, for this life is just a mere shadow, a blip of the eternal life ahead. Some of the most happy people on earth are the poorest in wealth. You can’t take all your materialistic things with you when you are gone. Like the saying goes, “you never see a u-haul behind a hearse. Let us strive for eternal riches where it really matters. Slow down, take a deep breathe and enjoy this quickly fading life. Enjoy the simple things that are all around us and that the Lord has given us. God Loves Ya 😉
