Romans 5:1-5
Reread v. 2, “Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.” Remember those days when we were kids; the excitement, anticipation, and expectation of what is waiting for you under the tree Christmas morning? Perhaps some of us still do; however, thinking back can you admit that sometimes we really didn’t deserve those gifts? Probably so, but God continually blesses us when we don’t deserve it. Every day we should wake up the same way we did as kids! I know that is a lot to ask, but think about it. What is more exciting than waking up every morning with excitement and expectations of what the day has in store and how God is going to use us. We are told in Nehemiah 8:10, “the joy of the Lord is your strength.” If we wake up expecting good things, that sets the tone for the day. If we wake up grumbling, complaining and dreading the day, chances are that is the kind of day it is going to be – negative. God promised us great things and you can be sure He does not disappoint His children. So rejoice beloved and feel the excitement of God’s love. Merry “early” Christmas. God loves Ya;)
