Luke 19:10 (NLT)

This Morning many of us will be looking at the Christmas mess on the floor of wrapping paper, bows and boxes. Then some time during the day we will clean it all up and put it where it all belongs. Don’t be in such a hurry to clean up. Take a good look around and picture this…we are, or were, that mess on the floor. We once were scattered, torn apart, just one big mess. But somehow, with God’s amazing grace and love, He cleaned us up or is cleaning us up and showing us we belong to Him. We celebrate His amazing love for us today. What once was wrapped in that mess left behind were precious gifts that you gave to someone you love. In the same way, God tore off our worldly wrapping paper to reveal His precious gift and that is us, His children. Jesus Christ was born to take our mess and make it His message of hope and love. I am thankful for the Christmas mess that reminds me of how precious I am…so much so that God wants to unwrap the worldly shell I have surrounding me to reveal the real person I am. I am a child of the living God. Merry Christmas- God Loves ya 😉
