Roman 12:2-5
How do we simplify our faith? How do we get rid of the clutter? How do we discover a joy worth waking up to? Simple – get rid of the middleman. The middleman is our own sinful nature, our own self pride, our own “stinking thinking”. We are told to transform our minds in Romans 12:2 NLT, “let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” We have a great teacher who helps us with changing our thought patterns and can transform our minds. Our spiritual master, Jesus, will tell you what God wants you to do. You have a Bible? You can study. You have a heart? You can pray. You have a mind? You can think! Let us cut out the middleman.
