Galatians 5:16
During our Bible study, my husband and I had a discussion about God’s grace and our relationship with our Creator. If we woke up every morning and found $50, not knowing who it came from, we might thank whoever it was and say “we will pay you back someday”. Christ gave us the ultimate blessing when he hung on the cross; how can we ever express our thankfulness? However, because of grace, God gives us blessings regardless of if we feel that we deserve them or not. We can show our appreciation for our Lord’s sacrifice and His blessings by leading lives that worship and serve Him. We can work on having a more intimate relationship with Him and use our God given abilities to serve His children. Lord I pray that we can know You and have a bond as Father and child and that through our actions, we can bring all glory and honor to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. – Ashley and Terry
