James 3:1-18
Sometimes we as followers of Christ make mistakes; it is only natural. We are fallen people living in a fallen world with Satan at our heels all the time. “Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8). At times we forget to be caring, sensitive, loving, loyal, and trustworthy; plus a whole host of other things. We need to examine ourselves constantly to make sure we are still headed on the right path. We also have to make sure if we see others that say they are “followers of Christ” but are not being Christ-like, remember what Jesus said: follow Him. He did not say follow my followers. We all make mistakes and mess up, we are not perfect, but we follow the one that was and still is. God knows when we are trying our best, but He also knows when we make mistakes. This is why He gives us grace and mercy. Remember before we judge others, don’t you think they deserve the same treatment God gave us? Let us not be too hasty to judge. God loves Ya;)
