John 8:1-11

The Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery in front of the crowd. They were ready to stone her to death because of her actions; but Jesus had empathy and compassion for her even though she had sinned. He could have agreed to stone her (He knew the law) but instead, knowing her heart, he had compassion for her and saved her. Showing empathy and compassion for others isn’t a sign of weakness, it is a sign of God’s love. If we were in a situation where we knew we did something wrong and were truly remorseful and sorry, would we want any type of response other than compassion? We all make mistakes so before we pass judgment on others, shouldn’t we put ourselves in their shoes and show compassion and the love of God the way He does for us? “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) God Loves Ya 😉
