Hebrew 11:1 (NLT)

It’s Christmas time again; time for baking, shopping, decorating and finding the perfect, most fabulous family Christmas tree. For some of us, shopping for the Christmas tree is not as joyful as it should be. I have always had a real, honest to goodness, pine smelling Christmas tree in my living room until this year. I dreaded the thoughts of possibly having to get a fake tree. I recently moved to a small apartment and thinking of the mess, the lack of space and having to water it every day, I decided to take a huge step out of my comfort zone and purchase my first artificial tree! It is a true victory for me! I have let go of something I was hanging onto for so long. Just like all the other stuff we cling to because we are so afraid of change or that starting something new may fail. In Jesus, He gives us the courage, strength and self-confidence to make changes when we need to. I’m not saying it’s easy, but faith and trust in God will always be the better way. I must say, my little fake tree decorated beautifully and I’m loving it! Have a blessed day! 🙂 – Lori Moore
