“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” (Deuteronomy 31:8) Follow me! The disciples heard this and the crazy part is they did. They gave up everything to follow this Jewish carpenter they did not know. Why? This concept is so hard for me to understand but maybe, just maybe, they knew the scripture that we read today. The Jews knew the Old Testament like the back of their hand back in the day so there is no doubt they knew what the Lord said. He would go ahead of them and they should not worry. However, they did worry and fret and complain; but something drove them to follow this man. That was the spirit of God. We all have it. Once we accept Christ, the Holy Spirit is with us and will guide us. We can know with certainty that God is going before us. We might not go where we think we want to go, but we will be lead to go where God wants us to. He will not abandon us or fail us; all we have to do is trust. Trust God in all your decisions; He will not steer you wrong. God Loves Ya 😉
