“We will serve God until the devil offers us better wages.” (English proverb) I don’t know about you, but I have fallen into this trap many times through my life. I had good intentions to serve others through either mission trips, serving on Sunday morning or just helping a friend in need. Something I thought would benefit me more always took precedence over my duty to God’s will. The devil is sneaky and will lure you away from doing what God wants you to do every chance he gets. Stand firm my friends and if you make a commitment to help others, to serve, and you know it’s God’s will, don’t let things stand in the way. The payoff might look better now, however, working for God’s wages has and always will be far more beneficial for you in the long run. God Loves Ya 😉
