Job 23:1-12
In today’s scripture, Job wrestles with God by being direct, honest and bold. You can almost hear him saying, “Lord shall it be your will or mine?” We don’t know what he was thinking but in the end, wrestling with God was a good thing. Why is it good to wrestle with God? Because when we wrestle, we don’t accept a pat answer. Wrestling ultimately leads to surrender and that is a good thing. Where do we need to wrestle to move beyond pat answers and discover the gifts found in wrestling with God? Are we willing to name those areas? Are we willing to wrestle with God and surrender to Jesus, especially when life is difficult or in our suffering? God Loves Ya;)
