You ever have one of those days where you know you “have” to do something and you really don’t want to? Maybe a chore you don’t particularly like or a job you don’t care for. You just feel doom when you know you have to do it. Then you start that “stinkin’ thinkin” that we all get at times, sometimes more than we’d like to admit, and we only give half of what we know we should.  We do the job halfheartedly and hurry through it. Then you start feeling bad or guilty because the person you are doing the job for relies on and needs you because they can’t do it themselves. It made me think of God and how He wants us to do things; He doesn’t want us to do anything halfheartedly. He wants gumption, and the on fire and full steam ahead approach. Jesus doesn’t give us half blessings; He gives His all as we should every day. My lesson is, give your best and the best will follow! “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”  (Colossians 3:23 NLT) Have a Blessed day and start giving your all 🙂 – Lori Moore
