Psalms 139
Remember the TV show “Cheers”? One of my most favorite scenes, which was on almost every episode, was when the character Norm walked into the bar and everyone would yell, “Norm”. Even though many times he had something funny to say afterwards, that sense of his recognition always made me smile. There was that sense of being known, being admired, being recognized, and was like a welcoming home. God tells us that He knows us for He created us; He even knows and numbered every hair on our heads. “Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” (Luke 12:7) He made us, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10) Each and every one of us is one of His innumerable masterpieces that He loves immensely and beyond our own understanding. You can bet that on that day when we meet our Father in heaven, all the angels will be praising your name and welcoming you home; I can just hear them now when we walk in those gates (say your name)!! God Loves Ya;
