Psalm 37
This Psalm of David has helped me many times during strife in my life. This psalm reminds us not to worry, be envious or angry because of something that someone else did or said about us. We have to trust in Him and His justice will prevail – always. Getting upset about others actions only hurt us. “Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.” (Psalm37:3-4) Probably the hardest thing to implement from this Psalm is in vs7, “Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act.” When we are upset or envious of others, we need not react right away, but in the right way. Look at what Jesus said in Matthew 10:1, “Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness to his disciples when he sent them out to preach.” Then He told them when trouble comes and you get arrested “don’t worry about how to respond or what to say. God will give you the right words at the right time.” (Vs. 19) Trust God and He will take care of the situation. God Loves Ya;)
