In part 1 Corinthians 15:58 says, “Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain”. Most often when it comes to serving the Lord you and I do not lack the ability, but most likely the motivation that is needed to effectively
fulfill the callings and opportunities God is extending to us. Throughout the Bible, as followers of Jesus, there are practical traits, duties, and expectations. Through the power of the Holy Spirit within each believer, we have all we need to fulfill the various calls on our lives. What is often
missing is our motivation or what Paul in Romans 12:11 calls our “zeal” and “fervor’. Do you external pursuit, driven by an internal intensity to serve the Lord? Friends, will you and I set our hearts and minds toward the things of God today or will we seek the most comfortable and least risky scenario, instead of stepping into the relationships, conversations, and situations that God desires us to serve? Today, God will give you opportunities to cooperate with Him in building His kingdom. Serve the Lord with zeal and fervency! Stay close to Jesus. – Pastor Bryce
