Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)

A special friend of mine has a beautiful garden filled with, flowers, herbs, vegetables, a fish pond, a waterfall and bird feeders. One day I was visiting and I complimented her on how pretty, peaceful and tranquil it was just to walk through and not to mention the sweet aroma that fills the air. Her response was, “Ugh. All I see are weeds and all the work that still needs done.” I felt bad she didn’t see how creative and beautiful she was grooming it to be. That garden reminded me of how God sees us; full of goodness, beauty and potential. Within us when we see imperfections, He sees works in progress. We are always looking for ways to improve ourselves, when all along God knows He created us in His image and to Him we are perfect. Of course, humanly, we are far from it; but In God’s eyes, we are His children and what parent doesn’t think their kids are perfect? I guess what it comes down to is this, peoples perspective of things are very different. I choose the bright side. Father, help us to look at things the way you do, with thankfulness, cheerfulness and joy. Amen. Have a Blessed day! 🙂 – Lori Moore
