As a child, I was afraid of the dark. I always had to have the bathroom light on or a night light to feel safe and keep the “monsters” away. Now that I’m an adult, I still don’t like the dark; but I know now there are no monsters under my bed. In life, we can be in darkness, feel like we can’t see more than a foot ahead of us and be afraid of what we can’t see. In Christ, sometimes He gives us the darkness to learn valuable lessons such as growing closer to Him, relying more on Him and asking Him for help. We can use these lessons when we eventually walk out of that darkness. It’s not easy but learn to embrace the not so great times and take the God given lessons to use in the lighter days. Have a Blessed day!
