1 Peter 4:1-6
Why is gluttony, one of the seven deadly sins, so dangerous? Gluttony blinds us to the needs of others and it focuses us only on ourselves; it focuses us so much on the physical that we miss the spiritual. Gluttony tricks us into thinking that we know what is sinful and what is not, thus we assume the role of God making such decisions. So, what is the answer to Gluttony? We need to foster full souls by realizing that we cannot solve the sin of gluttony ourselves. We are sinners in need of a savior. In naming and confessing our sin of gluttony, we can be set free and move on from it to enjoy the abundant, Jesus-filled life. God Loves Ya;)
