Hebrews 4:16 tells us, “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need”. Friends, what do we do with our issues? Where do we take our issues? To whom do we take our issues? In Mark 5, there is a story of a woman who had an issue of blood for 12 years. The story does not give her name or any other information about her except her issue and how long she had been suffering. She had tried everything to get better, however had only progressively gotten worse. One day she heard Jesus was near; she was determined take her issue to Him. We need to bring our issues to Jesus; not part of them, or the semi appropriate parts, or even the ones we “think” He would want to know about or deal with. Exactly like this unnamed woman who brought her entire self and issue before Jesus, we too must know that Jesus is ready, willing and able to handle our issues, no matter how long it has been or what we have done to try to solve them in our past. The story ends with the woman touching Jesus and being healed. In the process of speaking with the woman, Jesus calls her “daughter”. This is super-significant! She went from being a no name sufferer to a healed daughter of a King. You and I too can encounter Jesus and see our issues changed. Stay close to Jesus. -Pastor Bryce
