Numbers 5:5-7, Joshua 7:1-26

How many of us have hurt a relationship with a friend, family member, or significant other with what seemed at the time like an insignificant sin? Maybe you told a little white lie to a family member, secretly gossiped about a friend behind their back or hid something from your significant other? Any sin, no matter how small we might think it is, has its consequences. It takes its toll on relationships we have with others and can even begin to poke holes in our relationship with God. When Eve took a bite of the apple in the garden, it didn’t matter the size of the bite she took; what mattered was that she had sinned and the damage had been done to her and Adam’s relationship with God. May we be ever mindful of our actions and make atonement for when we have done wrong, no matter how big or small. God will always love you no matter what! God is good 😉
