Without really knowing who Jesus was and what He was about, Simon surrendered his boat to Him so that He could preach the word. This boat was Simon’s means of making a living and feeding his family. This man could have stolen or even destroyed Simon’s way of survival within minutes, but Simon trusted enough to allow Jesus to get into his boat and preach to the crowds on the shore. So for having that trust, Jesus blessed him with more fish than he would have caught in weeks of fishing all in one swoop of pulling in his net. Trust God with the things in your life and allow Him to use them to reach the lost or hurting and watch Him bless you beyond your belief. God Loves Ya;)
Thank you for providing such wonderful spiritual encouragement and edification to so many for so long. I’m sad to see the texts ending, but grateful that I can find the devotional on your website.
I wish I’d realized that I could have donated to you through your website and helped keep the texting ministry going. I’ll look for your address on your website and donate in the near future.
Thank you again. You have helped me get through some difficult times, and I’ve forwarded your devotions to friends and family also.
Thank you Diane This means more than you will ever know
