Colossians 3-2
Already, I am feeling the crunch and am little overwhelmed over this Christmas season. I’m fretting if my finances are going to stretch far enough to get everything I think I need to have a perfect day; am I going to get my holiday cards out on time? Will I have time to get all my families favorite cookies baked? It can drive us right into a chaotic state of mind and eventually, the peace and joy of this very glorious time of year is gone and replaced with dreading the whole Christmas season. We all need reminded from time to time what our main focus should be and that’s none other than God Himself. This Christmas, do not lose the true meaning of why we celebrate the astounding, miraculous birth of our Lord and Savior. It’s not about spending your last dollar on a gift that will be forgotten about in a few days or making sure your house is decorated to the max or even baking those favorite cookies for weeks and weeks only to have the crumbs left behind. It’s about a King being born; bringing new hope and saving us all. Have a blessed day! 🙂
