Ecclesiastes 4:6
In today’s scripture, we are reminded that less is more. In a society where we are encouraged to take on debt to have the home of our dreams or to have the nicest car on the block, this can be a hard concept to understand. Dealing with the debt of having all that “stuff” can take its toll on us. “He who buys what he does not need steals from himself.” – Swedish Proverb. When we have less, we have more time to spend with God, friends and family. God blesses us with what we need. Let us be thankful for what we have been given and leave the stress of striving for more at His feet. God is good 😉
