Genesis 19:15-29
Sometimes, when God pulls my life in a certain direction, I feel hesitancy. I think, “what if this new venture doesn’t work out, what if I’m worse off than I was before?” Even when I get the faith to take the plunge and make that first step, I find myself wanting to look back at what I am leaving. In today’s scripture, Lot’s wife doubts what is ahead and is turned into a pillar of salt. When we lose faith for that brief moment to look back, we are at our weakest moment and provide the perfect opportunity for Satan to sneak in. “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!” (Genesis 19:17) Take faith and know that God always has our best interest in mind, even when we may have doubts. Keep your eyes ahead and don’t look back! God loves ya ;)- Ashley
