Hebrews 6:10 NLT
Today’s scripture can be a little misleading. As Christians, we are lead to believe that our good actions cannot earn us “points” with God. We cannot “buy” our way into heaven by doing a certain quota of good acts. What this scripture does say though is that God remembers what we do for Him and other believers in His kingdom. So on the days when we just don’t feel like getting up early to go to church and be a greeter or when we don’t feel like we have the time in our schedules to meet with another Christ follower that is struggling, we can be reassured in knowing that we are doing these things for a purpose. We are serving our God and making Him proud. Just like we would do to make our own fathers proud. Go children and remember, Father is watching. God is good 😉
