Matthew 25:21 NIV
Recently, a friend of mine lost his spouse and we all thought it was way before her time. Losing a loved one is definitely tough. I know, I have lost many and we always wonder how and why God takes this one or that one. We think, “they were such a good person and did so many good things, etc”…I don’t have the answers for that and I don’t believe anyone really does besides God. Let me pose this: we all are here for a reason and each have a mission; when the mission is over, we go back to home base. We don’t know how long our mission will take, but when it is over, it is time to go; some complete their mission before others. All we can do is appreciate their time with us and all they accomplished, strive to honor their lives and continue to complete our own mission. To my friend’s wife, “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ (Matthew 25:21). Mission accomplished; well done, now go rest. God Loves Ya 😉
