John 8:12 (NIV)
If you know me at all, you know I don’t have a green thumb when it comes to house plants. So, when I can grow anything without killing it within days, I’m pretty excited. I have had this one plant for 5 years now, it hasn’t been easy for this plant, and it has been over watered, under watered, and at one point, even knocked over. I have always brought it back to a seemingly healthy status, but my friend suggested I change the environment to see if that would revive it. I took the advice and moved it to better lighting, hoping it would help. After about a month, this plant is getting new shoots; I had to transplant it to a bigger pot and it is flourishing!! We should all take this as a God lesson. If we are not flourishing, feeling healthy, not growing in our relationship with God, maybe we need to make a change in our environment and be mindful of our surroundings.
