2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
It isn’t who I have been but who I am going to be. These are basically the words from a Tim Mcgraw song called “Better than I Use to Be”. When we come to Christ and believe in Him, our old self is gone and we are made new. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17) “What you envision in your mind, how you see yourself, and how you envision the world around you is of great importance because those things become your focus.” – Eric Thomas. We are children of God and our focus should be on who we are striving to be, not who we use to be. Our past mistakes should not define us but make us stronger because God wants us to learn from them and move on. God Loves Ya 😉
