When I read today’s verse, it was another instance of God speaking right to my heart just when I need it. My family and I just moved into a new home. There is a lot more space which is what we desperately needed! But with this move has come new expenses on top of a series of unfortunate circumstances which has created other expenses such as the heater going out in one vehicle and so on. The last few nights I have woken up in the middle of the night unable to go back to sleep because of worrying over our budget and causing myself chest pains at times during the day because I become consumed with worry. This scripture was so fitting for our current circumstances and was the reminder I needed to stop worrying!!! Sometimes it seems like money is all I worry about to the point it begins to affect me physically. That is not where my focus should be. God has our back and will provide for what we NEED. That is where my focus needs to be. Lord forgive me for not trusting in you and conforming to the ways of this fallen world. You are all I need. Not fame or fortune. Let your peace wash over me as I fully submit to you and your will. Amen. God is good 😉
