Luke 22:19-20 (NIV)

The other day I was driving behind a car that had a “never forget” bumper sticker on it concerning 9/11. As horrible as that day was and how we should not forget it, there is another important and probably more significant event that happened in human history that we tend to forget and that is the death and suffering of Jesus Christ on the Cross. As Easter has come and gone, the images we saw in movies, TV shows and such reminded us of that pain and suffering he sacrificed for us. We need to keep the image of what He did for us fresh in our minds. We cannot afford to forget how He set us free. If we remember what He did for us we would tend to become less careless about our sins and more thankful for our blessings. Each new day, make your way up to the foot of that old rugged cross. Let His blood cover the sin that you brought with you. Let His love poured out there capture your heart again. Remember His Love for you! God Loves Ya 😉
