2 Corinthians 12:9, Psalm 107:29
When I think back on my life, 2 crucial times or moments stick out to me that I would consider significant challenges. The first occurred before I was a follower of Christ and the second was more recent and after I have been a follower of Christ for some time. The differences in how I handled and reacted to those 2 things are significant. During the first one, I felt like my life was spiraling out of control. I was trying to fix it with earthly things and it only made matters worse. At the end of that, when I had lost all hope, I was introduced to Jesus Christ. He saved my life. And now, when I look back at how I handled this most recent situation, I can see how Christ was with me and gave me the peace and comfort I needed that I didn’t have during the first trial. He did not take the situation away. I still had to struggle through; but I was not alone and was ultimately made stronger through my weakness. He doesn’t promise to give us a life full of glitter and rainbows, but does promise that through the storms, He will be right there by your side. God is good 😉
