John 14:6
Did you know “there’s a lot of ways to get to 10?” Mathematically speaking there are many ways to solve a problem to get the same result (Ex. 5+5=10, 7+3=10, 15-5=10, 2×5=10, 50/5 =10). My sister in law will often use this expression with my brother when they complete the same household tasks differently. It doesn’t always matter how a task is done as long as it is completed. But when it comes to our salvation, there is only one way, Jesus. Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) Sometimes we are fooled into thinking we must earn our salvation by doing good deeds or works. We may bargain our salvation by saying, “If I do good, then I will go to heaven.” This could not be further from the truth. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) The only way to guarantee salvation is simple; say, “Yes” to Jesus. Will you pray, “Yes Lord, I want you to dwell in my heart and be Lord of my life.” He is the one and only way to eternal life. A final destination you don’t want to miss. God loves ya!;) – Melissa Lundy
