James 4:13-17
“Always plan ahead. It wasn’t raining when Noah built the ark.”– Richard Cushing. According to today’s scripture, James tells us that we should not make any plans apart from God. We have absolutely no control over our lives or over the events that may happen; we should never boast about our short-range and long-range plans without God in the equation. Our lives and our future are in God’s control and His thoughts and ways are much higher than ours. So, even if we make plans for our future, let us ensure that they are written using a chalk or pencil while asking ourselves the following questions: “Did I have God involved in this plan?” “Will this plan glorify Him or me?” Then let God have the eraser! It isn’t bad to plan, just make sure you are with God and have the right intentions. God Loves Ya 😉
