In 2 Corinthians 4:16, Paul says, “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” Paul is describing an invisible process that is taking place within every believer every day.  Friends, although we may not often notice what is occurring, we must learn to recognize and gather hope by the promise that Paul is highlighting in this verse. In the midst of all the “Pressure” of life, we can be “Pre- Sure”, that no matter what circumstances we are in, God is continually doing something on the inside of all who are following after Jesus.  To be “Pre – Sure” in the midst of the Pressure is to realize that true peace is not the absence of pressure but is the presence of Someone in the midst of the pressure.  The reason why we can have hope (excitement about what is not yet but is promised to be one day) is because although God allows the pressure in our lives, He is also the one who is developing and maturing each of us to become stronger in the “midst of the mess”. This is exactly what Paul says in the very next verse, “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” Friends, my hope for you today is that you would be more focused on the One who is pushing WITH YOU, instead of the pressure that is pushing ON YOU.  Stay Close to Jesus! – Pastor Bryce
