Isaiah 43; 18-19
I think it’s safe to say we all have regrets. As humans, we all make poor decisions and choices that eventually have “not so great” consequences. But, as we read in scripture today, we shouldn’t have regrets. In Christ, our slates are wiped clean; our past is dead and gone and we are made new. Our past mistakes only make us who we are. If we take what we have learned and turn it into life lessons, we can also use them for God’s glory by teaching others not to be ashamed of what they have done. God takes us just as we are. Thank you Jesus! He saved us when we were still sinners; He forgave us. Now it’s time for us to forgive ourselves! Live your life looking ahead and not in your rear view mirror. Have a blessed day! 🙂
