Jeremiah 29:11                                                                                                                               Adversity is defined in the Webster’s Dictionary as; “A state of wretchedness or misfortune; poverty and trouble.” Everyone faces different levels of adversity in life. Recently, my daughter had to deal with a difficult roommate in her first semester of college. When my “mom” advice wasn’t helping, I told her that even if it didn’t seem like it, God was with her at all times. She needed to seek Him out and rely on Him to help her get through this rough time. Whether we are facing an illness, difficulties at work, a strained relationship, or even a difficult college roommate, God will be there with us no matter what. Deuteronomy 31:6 (The Message) says; “Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God, your God is striding ahead of you. He won’t let you down, he won’t leave you.”  When adversity enters our life, we must look to God to guide our steps. He will get us through to the place we need to be, even if we don’t see it. God’s plans for our lives are always better than anything we can think or imagine.  God Loves Ya 😉  Karen Chappell
