1 Corinthians 9:24-25
About a year ago, I decided to start running. I had my reasons for doing it, but soon found I really enjoy it. When I enter a race, I set a goal to run without stopping and to improve my time. I know I am probably not going to win but always want to do my best. Life, like running, is about perseverance and endurance. Some days it’s hard to put one foot in front of the other when what you really want to do is to give up, stop and rest. In Philippians 3:14, Paul says “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” In life, we must endure and persevere every day if we want to win our race and the ultimate prize; eternal life with Christ. No matter what life throws at you, DON”T STOP!! Keep running your race and keep your eyes focused on Christ. What better prize could you be running for? God Loves Ya! 😉  Karen Chappell
