2 Corinthians 5:15 (NIV)

Recently while studying the Bible, God stirred my heart to really look at the word “sin” and after staring at it for a while I understood the message; the middle letter in that word is the letter “I”. It became clear that when I put my small needy self at the center of my own universe, I am feeding the flesh that desires destruction. That is what sin is all about; doing things for ourselves with no compassion or regard for how it might affect others and how it will eventually destroy our own soul. Let us learn from our sins that we are forgiven for by Christ’s blood. Repent and have compassion not only on others but for ourselves; try every day to erase the selfish “I” in our lives and live for Him who blesses us in spite of ourselves. God Loves Ya;)
