“A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked.” (Psalms 84:10). This passage reminds me of something I always say: “I don’t care if I am scrubbing toilets or pulling gum off the bottom of tables in Heaven as long as I am there!” I believe this is what David wrote about in this psalm. Being in God’s presence after I pass on is where I want to be and if it is being in the lowest of lows in the kingdom, I will take it. Following after Christ is not easy and there will be ups and downs, but being in God’s kingdom in the afterlife is worth it all. Christ said that following Him will be no picnic and we will have people that offend us, dislike us, and outright hate us; but what a small consequence compared to the big picture of Heaven. Have a good Labor day.God Loves Ya 😉
