Matthew 25:40, Romans 15:7

As a social worker, I always make the effort to treat others that may be different than me with the same amount of respect and integrity that I expect to be treated with. I have also realized that this is not only important because of the career path I have chosen, but also because of who I am in God and what he expects of me. “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40, NIV) Just because someone may look, speak, or behave differently doesn’t mean that they deserve to be treated any less or to be ignored. You would be surprised at what a smile and a simple “hello” could do in someone’s life. Go and shine your light! God loves ya 😉
