Jeremiah 24:7
As much as I hate to admit this, there are times while I’m driving I reach down to adjust the radio or glance at my directions if I’m traveling on unfamiliar roads. There has been a time or two I have veered off the roadway and ever so slightly, have crossed over into the other lane. I know, not good either way. When I realize I’m not where I’m supposed to be, I immediately jerk the wheel and get back on track. Knowing that I just had a potentially dangerous moment, I feel a little shaken and not so confident. Hmm, sounds a bit like life doesn’t it? Everyday life can be traveling along smoothly, without a hitch, and all of a sudden we lose focus on God and we immediately veer off into a dangerous path; that’s when God will “jerk” us back on track to where we need to be, in Him. He keeps us on the straight and righteous road so next time you feel unfocused, let God drive! Have a blessed day! 🙂
