Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” (Colossians 2:7) After you plant a sapling tree, it takes time but eventually it takes root, burrowing deep down into the soil; not very long after that the root system is as much underground as you see above ground. Soon, you will see new branches shooting out and leaves looking green and healthy. After a little while longer, the trunk will get thicker and sturdier and then that sapling is a health sturdy tree that is able to go through any storm. This is what our Christian faith and relationship looks like when we deepen our roots in Christ. The deeper we get, the stronger we become being able to withstand anything the devil throws our way. Let us get into God’s word every day; worshiping Him every chance we get and obeying His word. Making these roots strong is a life changing, awesome transformation and you will deepen your personal relationship with the living Christ which He longs for.  God Loves Ya 😉
