Romans 5:12-21
We can all remember someone at some time in our lives saying, “you are hanging with the wrong crowd”. Usually our children, parents or friends may see us hanging out with a certain person or persons that they know will influence us in negative way and that we could end up doing something wrong. We can see through today’s scripture how Adam’s sin caused the fall of man (the fallen world of today). There was no hope for us until another man (Jesus) came into the scene and saved us. We as humans can be easily swayed to follow others that lead us away from Christ and the righteousness of God. The wrong crowd can give us a sense of having a family, value, and belonging that are only temporary. God wanted us to be back in a relationship with Him that has true value and belonging; a family that truly loves us for who we are in Christ. That wrong crowd you were warned about can bring you to sin so why not hang with a crowd that can bring you to righteousness. “Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone” (v.18). God’s gift of grace brings more value and belonging to our lives than any wrong crowd ever could. God Loves Ya;)
